Sunday Funday- Kite Flying with the Anaya Family

Here is the preview of my shoot with the Anaya Family yesterday morning. They are absolutely adorable. Andres, the little guy, sure knows how to make faces.
More photos are coming soon so be sure to check in again often.
Btw, isn't this photo of Andres kissing his Mom perfect for Mother's Day? (swoon***)

I am busy all of May and June but I am available in July and onward for photoshoots.

Fun in the Sun with Noelle

Before Noelle, I have not photographed someone so fair skinned before. At least not professionally.
It wasn't until we got into full sun that she GLOWED!!!! She radiates like the pretty, happy Noelle that I  know who is always smiling and laughing. She is super sweet and these pictures show her off perfectly.

The Girl with the Maneki Neko Tattoo

I had a blast taking pictures of Ashley and Noelle this weekend. The concept was very simple: Lost Princess.  There's a girl in a long dress, flowers in her hair, a swing and a forest full of lush, green trees. It was originally intended for Ashley and Noelle to be together as light and dark but since there are so many great photos of each, I am going to dedicate a post to each lady first.

This is Ashley, the Girl with the Maneki Neko Tattoo.

Since she is so awesome with the fierce expression, here are some where she is not glaring at you. LOL..

Stay tune for more photos of my recent shoots. I am currently booking sessions for June and July. If you or anyone you know in the Sacramento or Northern California area are interested, please contact me at 904-887-3162 or 220photos@gmail.com.
Thank you!

An Evening in Old Sac

I have a family photoshoot tomorrow. One of the places I plan to take them to is Old Sacramento. I actually haven't been there for a long time so I thought I'd check it out tonight to prepare myself. I forgot how festive Sacramento can be until I saw everyone out and about in Old Sac. While I was walking around with Jixer, high school seniors pulled up for proms and posed for photos by the old trains as their parents snapped away on their cell phones. People were pouring into the Delta King and Joe's Crab Shack for dinner and drinks. There was music blasting so loudly that I thought there was a concert going on at first. End up it was just a boat cruised by with 80's music blasting on the speaker. Despite everything else that was going on, life is good!

Note to self: Get out to discover Sac more. Since we live in this city, I think we forget that it is a destination  that others come to visit. Jixer and I spent a good 2 hours there today. I had a good time watching people. Jixer had a good time having people oohhh-ing and ahhh-ing over how cute he is. =)  Enjoy the photos.

Sunday FunDay at Lake Berryessa

Today Jeff and Henry went bicycling out in Lake Berryessa so Jackie and I tagged along for the scenery. The weather was perfect! 70 degree, sunny and breezy. Other than having lots of dog poops near the picnic area, it was beautiful. (Btw, dogs were allowed in the park so this would only make sense.) There was even a sketch where lots and lots of blue/violet flowers were blooming all around. With me being who I am when it comes to flowers, I was all over them. hehe.. Hope you enjoy the photos!

Jackie has the prettiest smile ever!

The lighting and edit here make the flowers look like they were painted on, don't you agree?   Love it!

I heard somewhere that if a man is good to his pet, he will be good with his kids as well.  Is that true or was I totally making that up?

These two, all they know is to hit and push when they walk next to each other. In the end, I told Jeff to give Jackie a piggy back ride. Sure enough, I got my action shot right away! :)
This next one has to be one of my favorites. It looks like Jeff was straining to keep Jackie up. I don't know why since Jackie is so petite. (hahaha) (Love you, brother in law!)

Project One2Ten | Ai Version

#awesome #coworkers #volunteers #teambuilding #cutefaces #OMGyou'resodramatic! #cantyoubeanycuter

This project is in response to the video posted by JinnyBoyTV called "Asians at Work". If you haven't seen it, watch it now:

Toward the middle of the video, there's an Asian girl who took lots of selfies with poses for numbers on Instagram: #1, #2, #3, etc. Many of us are guilty of the things depicted in this video: taking picture of yourself making cute faces, funny faces, ugly faces; taking pictures of food and posting all of these on Instagram and Facebook before eating it.
Here is the Art Institute version of the number faces! We had a blast making it!
Thanks to my coworkers for their awesome acting skills.

Happiness held and shared

“Happiness held is the seed; happiness shared is the flower.”

Happy Wednesday, lovies!!! There is an interesting quote to consider.

I saw the most beautiful pink flowering tree while driving in Downtown yesterday that I had to stop to take some pictures. I'm not even sure what it is called. I just remember seeing the silk ones being sold at Michael's and Joann. I even used the white ones in the flower boxes for my wedding.
