Kong & Shao | Destination Engagement Session | San Francisco, CA

Last Sunday I had the pleasure of working with Kong & Shao for their engagement photos in San Francisco. I guess I shouldn't call it "work" because we had so much fun running around San Francisco that nearly 4 hours passed by and we didn't even realize it.

Kong and Shao are from PA. Kong is working in NYC now. They got engaged recently when Kong popped the question during one of their visits to Hog Island Oyster Farm (in CA). These two, they love to travel and they love good food. Shao even has a blog called friedwontons4u where she blogs about her cooking and traveling experiences. (It's pretty amazing. You can check it out here!)

Since Kong has to be in San Francisco for work that week, they thought wouldn't it be fun to take engagement photos in CA? They really wanted to have it done at the spot where he proposed but since no reservation was available at Hog Island, we went to San Francisco instead.

It was a good choice! The weather was beautiful and they were so fun to work with! Without further ado, here are the photos you've been waiting for. I hope you love them as much as I did working on them.

Here we were in front of "FULL HOUSE"  called the Painted Ladies in Alamo Park.

No engagement photos is complete without a ring shot, of course!

Can you tell that I love this spot? I have an obsession for trees.

This was my favorite moments during the whole shoot as they sat side-by-side no the steps:

ME: Kong, what is your favorite thing about Shao?
KONG: Her cooking.
ME: Shao, what is your favorite thing about Kong?
SHAO: His eyes.
ME: But they are so small. I can't even see them when he laugh. (They burst out laughing)
ME: Kong, what about the most annoying thing about her?
Kong looked at Shao and said, "There are too many."

Congratulations on your engagement, love birds! Cheers to the beginning of your happily ever after!
I hope you enjoyed the photos. An engagement session is not just to take pictures. My goal is to make it a fun experience that remind you why you love each other. I just happen to be there to nudge you a bit and capture those good memories.

If you haven't already, check out my portfolio at www.twotwentyphotos.com. You can check out my Facebook here. If you or someone you know are looking for a wedding & engagement photographer, please email me at info@twotwentyphotos.com.

Happy Sunday!
