It takes courage to love someone. Love is beautiful. Love is warm and inviting. Love is the butterflies in your stomach when you meet.

I remember the moment I fell in love with my husband. It was the third Wednesday night in January 2007. We had just gotten back to his sister's house after spending the whole day playing tourists in San Francisco. He had on black slacks and a white button up shirt. As he ran around the family room chasing down his nieces, laughing and smiling, a rush of warm and fuzzy feeling overcame my stomach and I thought, "What a great Dad he'll be one day!"

I learn that to have to confidence to love someone wholeheartedly, you have to love yourself first. Only once you love yourself can you open up for others to love you as well. Love is mysterious. Love is magical. It has the power to make you smile out of nowhere. For once, it is better to be awake because reality is so much better than your childhood fairy tale dreams.
