Lily & the Fire Chief

Good morning and happy Monday!

This past Sunday, I got a chance to take family photos for Nate & his ADORABLE daughter, Lily. Nate is the fire chief at the UC Davis Fire Station. Amazingly enough, I got in touch with him through Instagram. We talked on Friday, set the time & date on Saturday morning (as I was heading to Hien & Loc's engagement ceremony) and did the photoshoot on Sunday. Talk about decisiveness, Nate!!!!

Looking at this set of photos, I have to say that Nate & Lily are the cutest and happiest duel that I have worked with. There is so much love and smiles and they show through these father & daughter images so well. Nate, I appreciate you for trusting me to capture your family memories. I had a great time working with you & Lily. What an awesome team you guys make.

I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I did working on them. I mean, how often do you get to go to a fire station to do a photoshoot! So without further ado, here they are:

I went ga-ga over this picture of Lily in her oversized firefighter jacket, trailing behind her Dad.
How much cuter can you get!!!

Normally these are not the pictures that you would print. However, the reason why I love them so much is that they show "STRENGTH!" With parents and children, it shows how little your child was and at the same time how strong, how tall, how young you were as well. Next year and the following years when you take photos again, you'd notice then that your child is taller and heavier. Pretty soon you can't carry him/her like this anymore. Rather, your child can carry you instead.

These make for great photobook pages because to me, they tell stories. Do you agree?
I think Lily agree because look how happy she looked!

And that is all for the first photoshoot off of the "Holiday Family Photo Sessions". If you haven't schedule your family photo session yet, you can do so here. I am currently booking for October, November and December in the greater Sacramento and surrounding area. This is a great time to get your holiday photos in, right on time to create holiday cards with!

More information is available at www.twotwentyphotos.com under "Specials". For questions and booking, please email me at info@twotwentyphotos.com.

I appreciate you taking the time to check out my work!
I look forward to working with you soon!
